People like to make crazy risks.
People like to make crazy risks. I believe that at the core of each of us is a desire to be a part of something bigger than ourselves.
It started with a big idea to serve coffee with a purpose
When we started to dream about how God could use a cafe to reach people, it hardly seemed like a realistic possibility for our family. We have 3 small boys. Colton is needing more and more help in school. French is not our mother language. We are involved with other ministries in the church. Aside from our love for coffee and love for people we lack serious resources to pull this off.
God is up to something and we couldn’t ignore it.
At the same time, we felt so passionate to follow God’s leading in our hearts. It frustrates us to see so many people hurting, struggling with depression or anxiety(to name a few) and not have someone who can connect them to Jesus. They live their lives never knowing the love and true peace He offers to EVERYONE.
Building a team
We shared our heart and passion with others to see the lobby of our church transformed into a place that invites people in daily. Friends and people from our church community felt drawn in. As we shared our desire to use this as an evangelism tool and a door for people to meet Jesus we have seen so many people want to be a part of it and help. People are willing to give up time and invest money to build this project. This is a huge answer to prayer!
We don’t want to walk this path alone.
There are a lot of preparations being done. Construction, training, planning events and putting together the menu. We could use your help too! Help us decide what should go on the menu. We will have lunch items (sandwiches, salads, and soups) and desserts (cakes and cookies).
Write us back and let us know your best cafe experiences? What’s your favorite fall food?
