What is a missionary?
For Hannah and I the focus in this answer is not only the needs of people but the call of God upon our lives to be apart of what He is already doing. Waking up everyday it´s the inspiration of God before us calling us towards Him. The needs around us are so enormous, and the conditions so difficult that it is easy to forget that the one great reason underneath all missionary work is not primarily the elevation of the people, their education, nor their needs, but it is first and foremost the commond of Jesus Christ – “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations…” (Matthew 28:19)

Our goal in life is to continually trust God in His wisdom. We know that many of the choices we have made in sacrificing the typical life as in “American” views is sometimes viewed as “foolish” and misunderstood. But no one could deny the look in our faces when they hear either of us talk about the life we live over here in Europe. I wake up everyday in love with the opportunities we have to bring hope into the people we meet. I can honestly say that there isn´t a job offer out there that could take us away from what we get to work with here. Our hearts have been deeply connected with Europe and we love serving here.

Our journey does not venture far down the road without friends, family, pastor´s and organizations who are willing to invest not only into the life of Hannah and I, but also who see that by supporting us, that they are actually impacting people way beyond what we could do alone. I get excited to think of the young men and women who are walking into Master´s Commission across Europe becoming trained and inspired who will then be sent back into their local communities bringing hope to a world so desperatlely desiring answers. The degrees of influence is amazing and knowing that your support is bringing that change in Europe should be inspiring!
